Soyoun Kim is a storyteller and speculative designer currently based in The Hague, Netherlands. Kim studied Spatial Design in South Korea and further developed his studies through an MA in Contextual Design at Design Academy Eindhoven. In his design practice, he explores personal and social topics using multidisciplinary communication approaches such as object-making, digital visualization, and curation.

Particularly, Kim is eager to create collaged monuments that challenge entrenched stereotypes regarding his place of existence. Through a broad spectrum of projects and conceptual explorations, Soyoun Kim strives to gain insights into the cultural zeitgeist of his time and strengthen his diasporic identity.
